"I had the unfortunate task of shopping for new homeowners insurance due to changes with my mortgage, and as anyone knows, it is quite the daunting task. I had insurance with another well known provider that could not offer the HO policy to add to my existing boat and auto. Many places I tried were priced way out of range with limited coverages. On a whim I stopped in to see what we could do, and Cory was most helpful with selections. While she was swamped with other work at the time, she dropped what she was doing and took her time to go over all coverage options, made helpful suggestions and in the end, State Farm came out ahead in coverages and price. Even though my other policies were not up for immediate renewal, I cancelled them right away and signed up for Home, Boat and Auto within a few hours of quoting. PJ (the location Agent) was very friendly and we shared great conversation while I was there. I normally refrain from using Agents due to high pressure upsells and inflated rates to compensate them for their time, but it was not the case here and I was glad I took the time to stop in and talk. As far as the personnel, coverage options, knowledge of products and pricing I would give them 10 stars if I could. How State Farm is as an insurance company to deal with in general- time will tell, but so far so good. When I called to cancel with the old company after being with them for 12+ years there was not much effort to retain my business, which further confirmed I made the right choice."
